My first flight of the year and first one after one and a half years without flying a Cessna!

Practicing slow flight in the Cessna 172N. Enjoy.

  • 3 things to fix: attitud gauge, pull carb heat to on and mixture rich

  • @sdfgolf Yup, the artificial horizon was inoperative. I decided to go, though, it was a beautiful day. I didn't keep the throttle all the way to idle and I reduced the thrust for about 45 seconds. It would have been a good thing to apply carb heat before pulling the throttle for some seconds, but I still had to apply thrust for the increased drag with the flaps. About the mixture: It seems I had to lean it more. Looks very rich to me. We were flying at 7000ft. I will practice more ;)

  • Grüße aus Boberg! ;)
