I remember this on the Pregame for Opening Day. I was pumped up for the season. Then Pedro went down, Church banged his head, Delgado was ice cold, and bad loses. Then Randolph was fired, Delgado got red hot, a 10-game winning streak, Mets were in 1st place. Then Billy went down, a disastrous bullpen, blown saves, the struggle for the wildcard, Johan's 3-hit complete game shutout and then... "Shea Goodbye." It was a hell of a rollercoaster. The 2008 season was like a bad and sad soap opera.
