Agressive and dangerous truck driver on Footscray Rd

Driver of Cemex cement mixer registration RUV 437 driving down Footscray Rd trying to force me off the road. He didn't understand that it's ok to ride bikes on the road no matter how may time I had to tell him. This is going to the police.

Isn't there a Bike Path City Link built to accommodate the Pushbike Brigade?

That would obviously be a safer option if you choose to ride your Bike.

That section of Footscray Rd is basically a 4 lane highway and a designated National truck route. Why don't YOU take some responsibility for your own silly actions instead of blaming everyone else.

The law in victora clearly states you Must give way to your right............ the law is for trucks cars and even push bikes..... its going to be funny when the goverment makes all push bikes be registerd then we can de-fame you on youtube with your bike rego on the screen

What's really sad is at first I thought you were offering some interesting discussion but it's turned out you're more like abc58885 the cement truck driver who made a comment the other day. Too bad.

I keep saying, and all I care about, in this posting is that we all need to learn to share the road. Doing stupid things like this driver and the attitude that you have is dangerous and leads, sadly, to people dying. Take it easy.

How many people ride/drive with Camera's on ..... that says a lot about you. That is something Alan the other brother on 2 and 1/2 Men would do ..... and that says it all.

You're absolutely right it is MY CHOICE. What you are telling me is that you think it's ok for drivers to deliberately try to run cyclists off the road. You're a real worry. That truck driver also had a choice and he chose to try and run me off the road. This is only one example of this happening. I was lucky enough to have a camera running at the time. This happens on roads where there isn't a CHOICE.

Learn to share the road.

Regardless of all this it doesn't give drivers of cars or trucks the right to drive as close as they can and then sound their horn right next to you. This is completely irresponsible and can very easily lead to serious injury or death as sadly happened last week in NSW. That's the whole point of this posting. This isn't the only place drivers this happens. Learn to share the road. Don't worry, I pay out on cyclists who run red lights etc. as well. There's no excuse to disobey the road rules.
