Pharmaceutical companies are in it for the money not for us to be heathy and happy!! I have been taking st johns wort which has been very effective for me. Plus no side effects like when I took citalopram. Society is creating depression though with is need to screw the people in favor of greed and power! This of course will collapse and in my opinion the sooner the better!!

2) That is depression, in my opinion; rational anger and frustration that was originally directed toward the outer world thats turned against the self because its not allowed to be expressed outwards.
The reason our species is in such a mess is because our basic biological needs (for love, emotional connection, security, freedom of healthy expression, and understanding, etc) are not being properly met, from birth onwards.
-
3) And its a vicious circle; children who havent had their needs met usually turn into parents who dont know how to meet the needs of their children and so on. Its been going on for thousands of years and its not going to change by denying whats really going on, and hiding behind chemical imbalance and genetic theories!..

I take Wellbutrim, the max is 450mg a day.
I accidentally drank once 750mg because I forgot that I already had taking my pill, it was a stupid mistake on my part.
1) Ive had depression, my view is that the cause of depression is a sick society, not faulty brain chemicals or genetics - they are excuses for abuses. When your basic needs are consistently not met, for whatever reason, you will justifiably get frustrated and pissed off about it. If then youre rational anger is not accepted either (by the people around you) and refused expression then you can end up turning your anger upon yourself.

I was on Paxil for 9 months, prescribed to me for shoulder pain! My doctor said I was carrying all of my stress in my shoulders. I was working full time, going to college full time, had an autistic 4 yr old son, and feeling very overwhelmed. About 7 months after I started taking the Paxil, my shoulder got so bad that I went to the ER. It turns out that I have calcific tendonitis, and that is why my shoulders always hurt. While I was on Paxil, I failed 2 courses. I had never failed before.
