Small cars would be a lot safer if the cars that ran in to them weren't frakkin' huge cars like Cadillacs. It's the abundance of big, heavy things on the road that make small cars less safe.

@MisterDeSoto Volvo is the safest car to drive hands down. But you can't compare todays Volvo with 1970 Cadillac. Cars back in 70s were huge and heavy and made with real steel.

i bet they could still drive the caddy home. i could when someone crashed into mine pushed it on the sidewalk, smashing from the quarter panel to the front fender. I cried that night, but i continued to drive it around. nothing beats American cars. lol it still had that "cadillac ride"

My life was saved by my 1970 Cadillac. I was stopped at a red light when I was hit by a truck doing 50 MPH. It destroyed the car but I was uninjured. I wasnt even wearing a seat belt. They are the safest cars to drive hands down.
