It happens, my three dogs all had colds once, i'd just let it run it's course, it takes about a week to pass.

Hi Don, sorry, I can't be any help to you with this. I've never owned a dog. It may be expensive, but if the illness persists, you may have to bite the bullet and take him to a vet. I hope that his health improves soon. Ray
