America & Barnes & Barnes (Mumy) Demo America Song In 1986!

RARER than RARE and NEVER before seen, this private video is from 1986. It shows AMERICA (Beckley-Bunnell) along with Barnes & Barnes (Mumy-Haimer) recording a demo of a song they wrote that day, "Nothing's So Far Away As Yesterday". The song was finally released in 1991 on America's "Encore" Cd.
This was shot off a tv screen, thus the quality sucks. But you get the idea. Artie Barnes was the lensman that day, that's why he's not seen in the video.

NOTHING'S SO FAR AWAY AS YESTERDAY!!! by America. It seems they're about to have it complete before recording it. And William Robinson doing bass!!! What a document!! And the song is so beautiful. Congrats on this rare tape!!! Are you a close friend of Dewey and Gerry's. I had the chance to interview them twice in my country, Ecuador in 1993 and 1998. They may still remember me.
