  • wonder whatever happened to this family?

  • @urrutiap I too saw one of these movies on HBO in the early '80s. I think the one I remember began with a man, the father, being in traffic or just in the city and yelling in frustration before deciding to move to the country.

  • @HaIoedG I LOVE The Sea Gypsies but it was titled "Shipwreck!" on HBO/Cinemax. I am glad I have that video :)

  • I love the big fake bird flying by. Ah, the 70s.

I saw the first two Wilderness Family movies, and I hated the son - not cute at all.

  • @urrutiap You're thinking about "The Sea Gypsies" Where a family gets shipwrecked......Yes, same father and daughter cast, go figure.

  • is this the same movie or whatever that was on HBO back in the early 1980s where a bear was terrorizing the kids and then one of the kids almost died from drowning in the ocean water?

I swear to god it has to be either the Mountain Robinson series or the 1981 Swiss Family Robinson movie or something

  • @handmethewhip

Haha, the eagle made me say "wha?" too.

  • @handmethewhip the image is obviously a superimposition of two shots, the shot of the boy and his son and a long shot of an eagle in flight.

  • Oh, I remember this movie! :D I used to watch it all the time when I was younger.

  • I thought this movie was released in 1981!

What was Pacific International Films? A low budget movie company from the 1970's-early 1980's?
