To install APK into your galaxy S i9000 you
can follow android developer site . but for arduino i use article "Google’s open accessory development kit on standard Arduino hardware" on romfont.com because standard pde file from android developer not work for me.

i use seeduino mega ADK and dfrobot mega prototype shield, but you can use ADK without mega prototype shield. I used ADK protocol and not using ADB protocol. I use ICS onecosmic ROM.
