Me and my husband had a lot of fun with the gas & air in the labour ward while we were waiting for baby Freddie to arrive!!!

I would just like to clarify for those who think this may have harmed my baby, that it did in fact do NO HARM at all!!!

This was my third time in labour. With my first 2 children, the gas and air had the opposite effect. i was very sick with it. However, for some reason... i was in utter hysterics with the third child. Made labour a much more enjoyable experience... and no... i do not do drugs, so no... it was not an excuse to get high!

My child is a very happy and healthy boy x

not at all. infact its the best thing to take in labour. safter for you and baby then pethadine or epidural. if it was bad for baby then it would not be given to women in labour

Also like to say i had to have an epidural for an emergency c section later in this labour as the cord was stopping my son from breathing. see the bigger picture please people.. i was in labour.. is was amazing and fun... then it was horrid... but i have a healthy son.. and THAT is the best thing that could have happend! Dont judge what you dont know! Plonka!

@Parag0n ahhh.. what lovely words. This was the safest option for my child considering the pain i was in. things got much worse for me during that labour & i was prepped for an emergency c section. I was lucky he stayed alive. This video is a wonderful memory of my labour as opposed to remembering the fear and pain that came later. And for the record... I dont swear around my children. you need to get your facts right, as laughing gas doesnt make me a whore or a C:!*T! Hold your vile tongue!

@ParagOn Give it the fuck up man! There are people (many people) who suffer from crippling pain EVERY minute they are alive! And these drugs hardly cut into such pain, merely providing a buffer so a semi-normal life is achievable. I am proud of your bravery in the face of mind-numbing pain. Wait, I'm not. Only an undereducated, entitled fool would criticize others' choices without having such experiences. I wonder why do I waste my time with this? You don't exist in my reality or probably at all

eh...that's why it's also called "laughing gas" and it's perfectly normal for some people. Later you usually don't remember the part you were on the gas, for obvious reasons...better to laugh than cry!
