@kingofthepaupers The point is volunteering, to make it more about giving time and less about value. The entire point of it is to detach from Republican-Capitalist ideals of value and move to Social Democratic ideals of culture.... You are, however, completely right. If time banks want more professionals volunteering with more precise skills, they will REALLY have to work hard to make it worthwhile. Walking dogs or tutoring a small child are not at the same caliber as technical skill.

Jct: If you use paper time notes, then doctors can charge more Hours per hour than ordinary effort and can join. Paying a doctor the same as a dog-walker explains why you have no doctors. But use paper tokens, and the free market takes over when no central controllers can prevent paying the doctor his due. value
