  • @ikcjjtt Actually original Japanese Jiu Jitsu isn't just grappling, look at some vids, it incorporates many throws that Judo derived from, it included ground work which Brazilian derived from and it has plenty of strikes used to kill or seriously injure your 'enemy'

But your right about the american styles, Okinawa Karate is the hardcore shit. I think again like you said, it depends on the user.

We can argue what better, but at the end of the day its irrelevant, it depends on the user man :)

  • @bebill2 trained right.

  • @bebill2 the principles of karate still work, it just isnt trained right by americans. Its blocks do work well on haymakers and kicks. Fancy kicking in karate was added in the later yrs. Its basic roundhouse, front, side, and basic turn and spin kicks r solid and practicle.i study all 3 styles and several more, including jujutsu (which is just grappling, so it doesnt cover all bases). Which is y good karate fighters beat boxers and MT fighters (kwonkicker, machida, ect.) Karate can be good when

  • @ikcjjtt The blocks are terrible and the kicks are more fancy than practical. The punches can be effective in certain situations but hold no comparison to practical stand up fighting, like boxing or mauy thai. The elbows and knees depend on which style of karate.. my dad practised Kyokushinkai, and his elbows were beast. Like I said however, it depends on the school and to take each good point from all schools is a waste.

I think Japanese Jiu Jitsu covers all bases too a better degree.

  • @bebill2 self defense karate is outdated, but karate principles still work. like the kicks, punches, elbows, knees, ect. Krav maga takes some of its techniques from karate.

  • where is the boxer?

  • karate fails because it isn't modern. Its techniques just don't work in current situations. Try Krav Magna or Japanese jiu jitsu..

  • how,.,, this post,., shit.,, they made boxing is none sense,., sport,., bullshit,.,

  • SHIT !! we asian can do better not just boxing or Karate ...... MMA

  • Why even post this if the quality is this bad
