Michiba's writing the menue reminds me of Japanese restaraunts. They don't have much of a fixed menu. It's more of a "Catch of the Day" kind of menu, trying for the freshest ingredents. the best places it was a guess as to what was for dinner :)

Must be one of the best positions to be in the world. They get to taste the cuisine of the masters of culinary from around the world. Or at least parts of the world.

Ooooh Yeeeeeah! Michiba rocks kitchen stadium each time he receives a challenge! Definitely the best of all the iron chefs.

I don't think they ever choose an ingredient that favours the Iron Chefs, maybe its to level the playing field, or it could be to challenge the iron chefs to create dishes outside their comfort zone

"Double-barred action" with soup.. HAHA.. so funny. I -love- the avocado/crab meat/shark fin soup.. that looks amazing, actually everything the challenger is making looks amazing. I really think it's messed up they put Michiba against him with a Chinese ingredient.
Kitchen stadium has a fully stocked freezer, fridge AND pantry. I'd love to get locked in there for vacation.

I love michiba.. His menu writing is so cool. He was the BEST japanese iron chef.
