  • I'm a structural engineer and laughed my ass off during this lecture - love his stories! Would highly recommend watching these lectures from start to finish for any aspiring student engineer, whether geotechnical or structural.

  • @castratedcat We're glad you enjoy Dr. Rogers' lectures and have recommended them. He makes his courses entertaining and educational, he's really a good storyteller with lots of experience and knowledge to disperse.

  • It was pointed out that Dr. Rogers did not name the book and author he used for the course. The book he uses for this course is 'Engineering Geology: an Environmental Approach' 2nd Edition by Perry H. Rahn.

  • Started watching these lectures I'm an English third year, Civil Engineer I'm gonna watch all of these lectures they're of fantastic quality. Thank you for posting.

  • @TalkingPixiesHeads

Thanks much! Glad you enjoy the quality of the course. Hope you find the content just as rewarding. Dr. Rogers is a delight to listen to, and has lots of field experience as well as education to bring to the table. We plan to release more of our classes soon, and they are also of the same HD quality.

  • "Class in artillery from some clown who have never fired a cannon. That's the system we have" - he's so freakin right.

  • He sounds so expressive, that could be stand-up comedian, George Carlin-style. Also very information-rich.

  • This guy is good. I'm not an engineer, neither geologist, but it's fascinating to find this kind of inspiring stuff from the net and learn about things one hadn't thought about much before.

  • Good little lecture, might watch them all.
