  • so.

if the amigo pro was no longer available which filter would you get?

  • @khakipearls MSR makes a gravity filter.....MSR AutoFlow Gravity Filter.

  • You stepped on the FROGS?! KERMIT KILLER! Watching the

Linville Gorge series for the fourth time. I'm definitely going there

coming spring. Once again, thanks for the vids.

  • @GeezerDust I am still shamed!!! The Gorge draws ya'....

  • Thanks Shug, no response needed as I'm sure you're a busy guy. I found the Hammock Forum, what a great resource. I'm from Mini also and my girlfriend and I tent it in the parks and day hike the SHT. The thought of backpacking it has always held an intrest for me, and seeing how you and many others do it has sold me on it. This is something that would be in a good buddy of mines wheelhouse and plan on showing him one of your vids and see what he thinks. Thanks again for the advice...

  • @MrGroucho58 That is too good...that is why I make these videos. To inspire.

Most hammocks will hold your weight and size. A Warbonnet Blackbird, ENO, Hennessy. You may have to try some.

  • Shug...

I have never back packed and thought I may be getting to old for that, that is until I found your vids. You and I are about the same age, so maybe I do have some back packing in me. I never knew people hung from trees while doing this, and I have to admit I am very curious about it and can see the advantages of a hamock vs a tent. I'm 6'0" tall and about 250 lbs with broad shoulders. Can a guy my size be comfortable in one of those things ?..Just curious...Great vids by the way...

  • All secure in sector 7 except for the frogs [;>)

  • @shugemery When I originally wrote that post I hadn't yet passed the Big Rock ...Now I have A picture Of me next to and on top of it :) Slept out one wicked Storm On top Of section 13 too :)
