I think you are missing that the drum IS a part of caucasian culture as well!For a good example,listen to celtic music of all kinds.The bodrun is the heartbeat of Irish and other celtic musical forms.

@dustinerikson Hi there, I was very specific to state that it isn't or hasn't been as wide spread or known/integrated through all caucasian culture. Still even today it's a "celtic" instrument rather than "caucasian" instrument whereas a drum being called an "African" or "Asian" drum is known, remembered and passed on through its entire culture. This is moreso a observation on the matter.

@AscensionSeries An additional note; personally I've learned more about classical & Ethnic instruments in school over traditional caucasian instruments. When purchasing traditional caucasian instruments online or in retail stores either as real instruments or as "sampled sounds" for playing on musical keyboards I haven't seen them listed as "traditional caucasian" but have seen it simply listed only as "Celtic".
