My Ubuntu Desktop has been upgraded from 8.04-9.04 (effortlessly!) and soon to be 9.10 just leaving it a couple of days for the dust to settle. I can honestly say I have grown more and more impressed with Ubuntu over the last two years. My only reservation with Linux is the narrow permission sets for the Server versions. As far as a consumer orientated OS it's light years ahead of the competition. I am putting this out in the hope more and more people see the benefit of using Ubuntu. It's time to end the Duopoly corporate illusion: coke/pepsi; mcdonalds/Burger king, microsoft/apple etc etc.

You can do all that in other ways directly even in windows xp....

U know actually it is not that ubuntu doesn't have any virus... sometimes it does.. it just that those viruses doesn't affect ubuntu :)

*drool* Oh man that looks awesome...when I buy my laptop I'm ditching windows. I think I will use either Sabayon or Ubuntu and customize it. Thanks for the ideas!

1. Install WINE
2. Open WINE program files directory
3. Copy your wow folder there.
4. Add SET gxApi "opengl" to config.wtf file it's wow's settings file.
Run WOW :) and eat some gnomes!
I get better frame rates than I do with the same system in Vista..
