  • for some reason at that station, downtown express trains are quite slow

  • It's probably because trains are slowing down for the station at 14th Street. Either because there's a train that's about to leave, or just abbroaching the crossover just south of 18th Street.

  • @TransferPoint9346

Isn't the 6 train supposed to be at 23st ?

  • @mta6local Technically, it's the 4 and 6 trains, but there was apparently congestion on the express track, so some 5 trains went local.

  • this freaking 5 train is always crowded

  • @KINGTO101 They dont. They have the program just in case. The (5) has so many programs. The (5) runs local more then you think. Alot of times they will send a 4/5 local because the Lex Exp is such a log jamn during the rush hour.

  • this is rare to find a 5 train run local on lexington av nice catch

  • thats an r142 right

  • Maybe another train was behind schedule and the 5 train had to be local to recompensate for that delay.

  • i guess the 5 express is heading towards flatbush rite?

  • Wait a minute did it say LEXINGTON AV LCL. Since when did 5 trains run local.
