@nanreg193 oh plus he never suceeded at ajax either so maybe depor was just the right environment for him, not necessarily the country he was playing his football in

@nanreg193 not about england, at that time newcastle started going down and he was always injured.......even at depor he was more super sub than a starter...tristan and roy makaay where the starters.....plus he suffered from not having a certain position in the frontline and that hurt him at newcastle where he was made to play as a winger when he would have been more suited to playing as a striker in the premiership
