FLAK is an acronym for Fleiger Abwehr Kanonen, German for anti-aircraft gunfire. The dance lasts two minutes nine seconds, the duration of many a WWII bomb run. It was choreographed in 1951 by an ex-B-17 bomber pilot. It is performed by dancers of Martha Graham Two. Choreography Stuart Hodes c 2009
