  • perhaps you are talking about the product "restylane subq"? obviously, the full name reveals what it is unless you are talking about something else. honestly i think collagen growth is a bit overrated. like sculptra grows collagen around it but i don't use it. thanks for the comments paul!

  • Is Evolence the same product as SubQ I've been hearing about?

Hopefully Thermage will develop that new highly targeted radiowave beam device that can dramatically enhance collagen VOLUME the way Sculptra does... thus creating the ability to reshape the face to more youthful dimensions. (But that seems a few years off.)

Evolence and Sculptra scare me with all the side effects.

  • i disagree completely. my staff have all held their restylane and perlane over a year. however, the reason for that is that i have targeted static zones not the smile lines and lips that last only a few weeks to few months. i don't believe injecting pig is the same as eating it. for example, you can eat cow but with cow collagen, you can manifest a significant allergic reaction when it is injected. these are NOT the same thing.

  • Juvaderm is good but Evolence is more promising. If you eat pigs then you don't have a problem with evolence. I do agre that it is something hard to mold once it is in, but that's why you always go with an experienced hand. Anyway, go with Juvaderm or Evolence...avoid Restylane and Perylane the last 3 months. Never heard of them lasting longer than 6.
