@jojud I have met Yngwie and yes he's a bit over the top but still very cool especially when it comes to Fender guitars and his fans. And if I am' not mistaken those are prescription lenses in his "shades".

Although Yngwie is one of my biggest all time influence, Jim Campillongo is far more a better musician I think. I wonder what a jam session between them would be like?

Though I haven't listened to Yngwie in a long time, I do remeber that he liked Hendrix a lot, and that he is a fan of pretty out there music..he would definitely have an appreciation for Jim's music...especially if you like Fender onFender sound. What someone plays isn't necessarily what all one listens too, or is reflective of their objective taste. But , yeah ..Jim is the best, and Yngwie is like the Godfather wherever he goes. The world needs all types.
