I have been trying to get friends to let me photograph them for free, but I can't seem to get people who are interested in getting photos taken of them.

um well i really really want to be a photographer and I'm only 13. I have a nikon coolpix but it was only $420 so yeah. I hope i get really good and I want to do something with photography in College. :)
