"This organization of chords is a result of my entry into the world of teaching. After reviewing several publications touting 10,000 Guitar Chords, I realized what a challenge it is to develop an understanding of chords as well as the skill to manipulate them. There are approximately 90 chord shapes in this book. By learning these shapes aspiring guitarists will acquire an excellent chord vocabulary. The chords are divided into minor, dominant, and major categories based on a cycle of fourths. By following the suggestions in this volume the student will improve their knowledge of the fretboard and obtain the skills necessary to create interesting chordal passages and transitions." ..Dan Papaila

  • You said a mouthful. Everyone expects a quality lesson for free, but what you say about not learning chords from a book "willy nilly" without any rhyme or reason should be enough to tell folks that you know what you're doing and that the book is worth the small investment. So what is this is an ad? You couldn't put all of the lessons here without someone getting cheesed that you were going over their head anyway.
