Why are some people so hard on this family.I think they are amazing.People are so quick to blame the babies prematurity on the fact that she was baby #19 when in fact that had nothing to do with it.They are raising well behaved beautiful children and are not draining the welfare system, so what on earth do people have to complain about? The children seem happy and seem to be enjoying many experiences as a family that many other kids won't ever have.

It's a decision made between a husband and a wife. If you and your wife choose to have no children or fewer children thats certainly your choice and I respect it. I myself had only 3. I wont however judge a family that decides together to have more. My Mom was one of 9 children.

@LAballin24 It is baseless and ignorant to pretend that they are not being greedy and ruining our world. Do you realize that if each one of those kids has 20 kids, that is 400 people and if each one of the kid's kids does it one fricking family would populate a whole city in just 3 generations. Before you know it the population of the earth will double everyday. Do you think that is ok or don't you understand that?

The premature birth had nothing to do with the number of children Michelle has had, so stop blaming it on her. Michelle had a galstone (idk how to spell it) and she happened to be pregnant at the time, and that caused a premature birth. It's not her fault, and she is one of the best mothers I've ever seen, so don't be so hard on her.

@semowery idk maybe its bc they cant afford 2 take care of all of them & the older 1s (according to every1) r forced 2 help care 4 them. Now she is 45 & having another baby ! Its a bit much. I think they are doing it 4 the show now. But ya cant make them stop. Its their life. I find it sad for the other children. At this age the mother is risking a lot to keep having babies. I hope the kids dont lose their mother. I mean at some point ya think it would be enough children. IDK common sense maybe?

@CaseyMcLaughalot Yeah, but other countries are just as bad, with people living off of money from some land grab scheme from 1482. And yes, lots of people are ripped off, but I am not watching another documentary that tells me everything I already know just to be grossed out.

@CaseyMcLaughalot I agree with the adoption statement. There are a lot of kids who need help and people just dismiss them as being broken. However, it's unfair to single out the US as being a land of rich people who don't work. I know many rich people who work very hard for what they have, as well as poor people who don't want to work. You can be born rich but lose it due to laziness.

@LAballin24 No, we are annoyed that this show is promoting an unhealthy lifestyle. It encourages people who may not be as financially blessed to have 19 damn kids! It says that it's ok to have as many kids as you want without a thought to how your own life. I don't think they are horrible people, just that they are irresponsible, as is TLC and their parent company, in putting this on the air.

@CaseyMcLaughalot I'm with you. And plus, this show encourages people who may not be as financially blessed to have 19 damn kids. I don't think they are horrible people, but it's encouraging an unhealthy lifestyle. Look at their last baby! Maybe if she had stopped at 10 kids, then she would be fine. It's not fair to the future children.
