One of four vignettes produced for a scab law firm in Washington DC, intended to demonstrate touchy situations where our corporate overlords might have to honor the human rights of their chattel.
The script was written over the weekend, all four were shot in one ten-hour day with a crew of 4. The actors saw the scripts the night before the shoot. The total budget was $2000.
I can't help but be really impressed by the quality and professionalism of everyone despite the desperate circumstances.
The heartless boss is played by B Stanley of Theatre du Jour and impressario of the DCAC http://www.dcartscenter.org/
The hapless temp is portrayed by the fabulously talented Michael Leclair, a perennial blossom on the DC arts scene.
