Introducing 10 week old snow leopard cubs Asha and Shanti, born to parents Helen and Tom. The cubs have a congenital eye defect and are receiving excellent medical care and corrective surgery. Footage from behind the scenes in their den box where they spend time with their mother, Helen, with Tom nearby.

    dangeroussak: Indian names, yes. The zoo likes to give animals names that reflect the native culture of their natural habitat, which for snow leopards includes the Himalayas in Northern India.
