MSOKC Yamaha Jr heat race 6/25/11; The kart ahead throws a wheel!

You are riding along with MSOKC Yamaha Jr. driver #77 Davis T. In this particular heat Quinten N.'s tire flew off in the first lap, as seen in a few slow motion shots. I finished 3rd in this race, but then struggled with fuel pickup/carb problems throughout the feature race, giving me a 4th place finish. Filmed with a GoPro HD Hero camera. cool vid, nice driving. what does an entry road course kart go for? nearly bought a kart at a pawn shop but it was set up with offest wheels for circle track, wasnt sure if the chassis would be different as well or if it would work for road courses like this one.

@nismo300zr2 yeah I'm pretty sure those karts use a different chassis than sprint karts like mine; I've seen pretty old used karts go for as little as $700-$1000 all the way up to $4000-$5000 for an almost new one with a spare engine or two.... Mine is a Margay brava 1.7

wholly !&*@$!$%&* thats for single speed as well not even a shifter?? i'd be looking for a used then , just ready to race. doesnt need to be 'competitive'. that can wait.
