Together with Antoine Boute, les ateliers claus hosts the BRUL nights. Exploring links and intersections between sonic poetry, noise, performances, voices, literature,... For the second BRUL night, Antoine Boute invited two bands and two poets. CHERESSE consists of Hugues Warin, Jean-Philippe de Gheest and Arnaud Paquotte, whose bass gives a metallic sound which perfectly serves their psychic poetry, dedicated to "love, violence and fire". SOUMOUNCES! is an improvisation collective, put together by Sébastien Karkozska (Jupitter goes Quattrocento), Sébastien Biset (Sepia Hours, MNÓAD, Bar Nomade, etc.) and Jean DL (MNÓAD). An attempt to exotic-pop-noise music. ANDY FIERENS is a Flemish poet. He wrote "Grote smerige vlinder" (Big Disgusting Butterfly), translated by Antoine Boute, and co-wrote the comic book Kawabata with Sam de Buysscher. His presence is the occasion for all the actors of this night to experiment, play and mix both languages. THEOPHILE DE GIRAUD is a french-speaking poet, responsible for novels, poems and provocative acts like painting Leopold II statue in red. He fights powers like monarchy and mass ideas by a positive and playful attitude.
