ESXi Struggles and Frustration

Decided to use ESXi for my hypervisor solution.... and ran into a large amount of trouble.
The final straw occurred when my website had some serious issues... would attempt to download any php pages, would randomly fail to connect. I could restore my clonezilla image to virtualbox and the website would work, no issues (NAT'd). I could then restore the same image to ESXi and would have all sort of network issues.

I settled on Proxmox/KVM/OpenVZ for my hypervisor solution and although not as powerful it does work.

So far I am happy with proxmox. It does most of what I want, and seems perform decently well.

??? You mention Proxmox in your summary but never in the video. So you say that you abandoned VMware for Proxmox?

@Iamajanitor01 Yes, went completely over to Proxmox instead.. just showing my frustrations with ESXi in case someone is interested.

Wow, there was quite a few issues you had during that process. Having to manually fdisk the drive, the converter failing... doesn't instil much confidence in the product.

How was proxmox for you?  I've had a play and am happy with it.
