Also this drama is called My Love By My Side, it's 50 episodes long and really good! But heads up, the drama fast forwards to 7 years later after this scene. When I first started watching, I was confused why the 18-19 year old characters were being played by people around the age of 27, and that's why.

For those wondering why he's at a club in the US this is why. The unmarried mother, Do Mi Sol, is a senior in high school at the time, and the father was shipped off the America to study abroad there when his evil (to pretty much everyone else except her precious son) mother found out he was the father of Do Mi Sol's baby as a way to "protect" him. I'm guessing he's partying as a way to take his mind off of her, but even after he got married he never got over her.
