Safeway?! No, Vons!

One day, Richard went to the local Safeway in Long Beach in hopes of buying some food. But little did he know that it was not a Safeway, but a Vons!!!!!!!

Yeah they are called Vons in SoCal and have been for a very long time. Safeway sold all their stores to Vons in the 80s and later bought them back along with the entire Vons chain. They chose to keep calling it Vons because it was better known at that point.
