That's a very nice specimen! May I ask how old she is - I'm looking at getting one myself one day but they're very expensive here in Australia. The cheapest I could find was $750 but that's only because I bought my other snake from there. Yeh go the climbing when they're not meant to be climbers...mine used to do that as well but now strays at ground level. Probably to fat n lazy to climb lol.

i know what you mean with the prices here(im in aus too) they do come cheaper, its all in who you know, they are beautiful snakes and are worth every penny!! shes nearly a year old, so shes still young, but she will get there! my big male wont climb anymore, he just curls up in his hide and waits for food, lazy bloody things!!

That's a pretty big snake for one year! I have a spotted and a coastal carpet - the later is going to grow to quite a size that's for sure! May I ask how much you paid for yours and also what size it was - hatchling I guess???

my friend bought her from neil(i think) about a year ago, i bought her from him about 3 months ago, paid 900 which i was happy with, shes not that big for a BHP yearling, shes on three weaner rats once a week, so shes getting alot of food aswell, i could be feeding her twice this amount and she would still eat it, shes a little pig!!

We have millions of the black headed pythons here. They just cruise around the bush and get in the way of cars.
