My english bulldog doesn't have a tail. I heard that the Olde english bulldogs have tails but that was a long time ago. Is your bulldog a mix of english/american bulldog?

No he is a purebread english. Some of the breeders in England have started breeding them with longer tails to avoid all the problems they get with the short pig tails (infections etc.). That's why his tail is longer and straigther.
