An illegal alien is not an immigrant, secondly, the US is not getting normal hard working Mexicans. It's getting the bottom of the barrel. People who knowingly violate international law by crossing borders without proper documents, contract human traffickers, committing identity fraud, and seeking illegal employment, are criminals. Mexico has much harsher drinking and driving laws than the US.

@domesticpuke I lived in two big Mexican tourist cities. Drunk gringos(legal visas) hit people & drove away. They didn't have Mexico driver's licenses. they drove away/hit&run. Someone's going to hit&run, regardless of their legal status. Illegal immigrants in America 200 years ago, running some native off a cliff with their horse, were gringos, does that make them less bad than the illegals of today? Whether they are white or chicano, they do hit & run.
