  • I study with the composer of this piece at Texas Tech and I think you should show it down some. it will make it that much more of a beautiful piece. Play around with doing different sound like dolce and ponticello at different parts of the song, see you find anything you like.

  • wow, that's cool...thanks for the advise, it's much appreciated.

  • not bad, but im better ^^

  • Thanks for the comment, I'll work on improving it...and while I'm at it go ahead and post a video of yourself playing it to back up your words with proof...

  • I don't study with David but I do sit 3 feet away from him every Thursday.

  • great job too by the way! You ever try Country Jamboree yet? that's another smokin' original of David's

  • David is both a Master and a genius. Maestro in the highest sense. I studied with him for years in Lubbock TX.

  • Hey!

Nice playing! Help me out, I'm looking for the name, composer and the year of this song..

    Thanks in advance!

  • beautiful music ... where did you get the score or the tab for this song?

  • removed my viedeo again, peace

  • @aerosmithfanatik or anyone else

you seem to know very much about playing guitar ... could you please give me some tips to improve the way of interpretation of the piece?

    Thank you!

  • I actually study with david as well at Tech (and I have a good guess as to who aerosmithfan is...) and would recommend that you try to keep the slides to a minimum, as well as use your right hand thumb to deaden the ringing bass notes when you switch to a new one (which is hard at first but you will get used to it!)
