  • Jerk Thompson is an attention whore. Every generation has its scapegoats. in the 50s it was comic books, in the 60s and 70s it was rock music, in the 80s it was heavy metal and rap music, now its videogames. I wonder if Jack Thompson was alive durning WWII if he would blame Hitler's Behavior on Chess, i mean after all, in Chess your goal is to conquer your opponent.

  • Gamers get shit on from all ends, even from other gamers, but those don't game and aren't bothered to undetstand why we game seem to be the same people who want to ban and censor what we enjoy. Non-gamers always say, "Get a life" or whatever, but gaming is a part of life and they can't stand it.

  • @sebastiandouse

I'm not blaming them 100% as clearly weak minded reclusive nerds are part of the equation also.

  • @Ste0wnz you still can't blame video games because its still the person who don't take a hour or so breaks fault, and there are some people who do take breaks.

  • @sebastiandouse

Yeah and all these die hard WoW and such players take breaks between hours? Bullshit. I've played games before and know they're heavily time consuming and for many, addictive. If there are internet cafes full of gamer nerds entering when the suns up, leaving when the suns down and in South Korea serious gamer nerds who in some cases have even died from gaming and other such interesting cases then I really doubt gaming has this moderate effect on many or even most.

  • @Ste0wnz "eye strain and a bunch of others like being so used to looking at a screen from the same distance" that is why i said to take breaks every hour or so that way those stuff don't happen, and like i said it physically helps you if your playing one of the games that require you to actually get up and move like sports games and exercise games basic games will not help you physically as much as the other two.

  • @sebastiandouse

Increase visual skills? Maybe some skills i suppose but theres eye strain and a bunch of others like being so used to looking at a screen from the same distance . Ever heard of carpel tunnel syndrome? "Can" be healthy physically? I burn more cals in one minute of running that waving your arms around a little on a wii fit lmao i've never seen a more disgraceful activity haha. The main problem is heavily addicted nerds however which are undoubtedly high in number.

  • @Ste0wnz Video games don't make people unhealthy it actually is being discovered that video games increase visual skills and can encourage the brain to work more often. It can also be healthy physically if you enjoy playing the Wii, PlayStation move, Xbox kinect and the games that go with those like sports games or exercise games. so the only reason to blame overweight and things like reduce in vision is do to laziness and not taking brakes from the video games every hour or so.

  • @AlucardsQuest

A part of life better spent doing something else. My little brother does nothing but play games and hes a fat unhealthy shit with no friends. And there's plenty others like him. It's time consuming and addictive i used to play a little. I want those hours back. Pfft nerds

  • @gigafart3 hahahaha, speechless, very true though

  • that is very true, like in london, the medi says that if your wearing a hoodie then you are going to stab somebody

  • the media has been fucked up for years, if you believe them your just retarded.
