  • Thanks for sharing this, would you believe I live overlooking St Pancras International I can hear the beasts the second they exit the tunnel over the east coast line and power up to climb the gradient into the station. I can hear the roar until they shut down at the stops. I wake up at 04 35 am each morning when the 1st ecs works in.-, Great alarm clock! miss the Peaks and the47 top and tails at end of old St Pancras -still hear MTU class 43s nailing the gradient to Kentish Town. Nice clip 5*

    Theyre actually the VP185 HSTs - theyre almost like Valentas, MTUs make barely any scream noise. Youre very lucky actually to have VP185 engined HST Power Cars.
