@oXistence He is fucking amazing at real guitar! Recently he did a song called Soothsayer (Extrememly difficult and "Pretty" sounding song by one of the be guitar players in the world [Buckethead]). But yeah he would have been way past the Buckethead level by now if he was practicing from scratch :). What you need to understand is this, Notes in GH is over placed, by that meaning real guitarists dont play as many notes. So essentially guitar hero at high levels is harder than real guitar.

@oXistence I dont think he spent that much time in front of the game, unless theres a new game out, he said he doesnt play it more than an hour a day, usually less, so that could be ~800-1000 hours in the 2 years, people usually waste more time on other things, but youre right

im not one of those guys saying "go play on a real guitar" or anything and i know you actually do play guitar.
But, imagine if guitar hero didn't exist, and you had spent all those hours in front of the screen, practicing real guitar, you would be fucking amazing!
