Sorry to tell you that, but Toyota created a Flat-2 engine back in the 60's for the Sport 800. But even then, they are not the only one to have created flat engines.

And the first one to bring the concept was Karl Benz if I remember correctly (The one who created the first know automobile)...

Boxer engines belong to Subaru? I think you should enlarge your field of vision a bit...

O well don't get me started on brands such as subaru, infiniti, and lexus..... 2 of those names are used to get passed egos and one doesn't even sell well in it's homeland.... Not that I'm a particular fan of hyundai...... it's just that whole "it's just a hyundai" comment is soo late 90s.

UHMM, FT86 , BR-Z , FRS . Same car . So its all in what you leave in the car or carry in the trunk . Do I hear weight reduction ?????? All are interchangeably tune-able . Just sayinnnnnn . Has anyone heard of a FORD flat six , eight in the 20's , 30's
