Nick -- you kno its rude to call people and then just hang up! If you dont want to talk to them dont call in the first place!

Nick -- L---Leah?

Leah -- i ---- i......bye Nick [hangs up]

Nick -- no wait! [hears the line go dead] Leah!

Kevin -- it was Leah? What did she say?

Nick -- nothing, she hung up

Kevin -- im sorry Nick...but at least you got to hear her voice, for a split second

Nick -- is there any way to find out the number she called from?

Kevin -- Nick Leahs not stupid, she probably called from a pay phone so we couldnt find out her number

Nick -- yeah probably --- [the phone rings, and he answers it fast] Leah?

Joe -- no its me

Nick -- [throws the phone to Kevin] its for you [walks into the same room Addi and Lilly are in]

Lilly -- [playing with a doll] daddy look what Addi got me

Nick -- you got her another doll?

Addi -- well your a boy, you dont kno about these things

Lilly -- yeah daddy, dis is a girl thing

Nick -- well let me at least pay for all the dolls and stuffed animals youve been buying her Addi

Addi -- no

Nick -- Addi!

Addi -- i dont want you to pay, you have enough to deal with already!

Lilly -- [takes her doll up to her room]

Addi -- so Leah was on the phone?

Nick -- barely, she said like 5 words, and then hung up

Addi -- well maybe she will call again

Nick -- i dont care if she calls

Addi -- yeah you do

Nick -- well i dont want to [goes up to his room]

Addi -- [follows him] why not?

Nick -- because i dont! [sits on the bed] so whats going on with you and Joe? I heard you guys a couple nights ago. You were moaning pretty loud

Addi -- [blushes] that wasnt me

Nick -- yeah it was

Addi -- we arent talking about me right now! Were talking about you! [gets on the bed, gets up on her knees behind him, wraps her arms around his neck] youve missed a lot of school lately

Nick -- i kno, Hope was sick and i didnt want to leave her side until she was better

Addi -- your such a good dad Nick [kisses his cheek] but your missing to much school, your going to get kicked out

Nick -- no i wont, ill catch up, its no big deal [pushes her off, goes to Lillys room]

Lilly -- [laying on her stomach, on the floor, drawing]

Nick -- what are you drawing?

Lilly -- [pats the ground next to her]

Nick -- [sits down]

Lilly -- dats mommy [points to one of the pictures] and shes takin me to da park

Nick -- your mom?

Lilly -- yeah

Nick -- [picks up a picture of Leah off the floor] where did you get this!

Lilly -- under your bed

Nick -- you cant go through my stuff!

Lilly -- i----im sorry daddy

Nick -- its okay, just dont do it again

Lilly -- [takes the picture from him] can i have it?

Nick -- um...

Lilly -- please?

Nick -- okay [kisses her head]

Lilly -- she was pretty

Addi -- [comes in] Nick?

Nick -- yeah

Addi -- [hands him the phone]

Nick -- who is it

Addi -- [looks at Lilly, then back at Nick] someone

Nick -- [walks to his room, closes the door] Leah?

Leah -- hi Nick

Nick -- [lays on his bed] why did you call?

Leah -- i um....well i ----- [about to hang up]

Nick -- dont even think about hanging up!

Leah -- [stays quiet]

Nick -- are you still there?

Leah -- [quietly] yeah

Nick -- where are you?

Leah -- at home

Nick -- no your not!

Leah -- what?

Nick -- your home is supposed to be here! With me and Lillian!

Leah -- Nick ------

Nick -- tell me where you are!

Leah -- i already told you, im at home watching homework

Nick -- watching homework?

Leah -- i meant ------

Nick -- dont lie to me!

Leah -- i have to go Nick ----

Nick -- wait!

Leah -- what?

Nick -- can you meet me somewhere?

Leah -- what?

Nick -- our old meeting place....you still remember ri----

Leah -- i still remember

Nick -- can you be there tomorrow, around 10 pm?

Leah -- [stays quiet]

Nick -- Leah?

Leah -- ill be there [hangs up]
