May 20, 1980 - A fire in the Eventide Home for the Aged in Kingston, Jamaica kills 146. http://secretsofthecia.blogspot.com/

National Heroes Park is a botanical garden in Kingston, Jamaica. The largest open space in Kingston at 20 hectares in size, National Heroes Park features numerous monuments, and is the burial site of many of Jamaica's National Heroes, Prime Ministers, and cultural leaders. The park is also the burial site for 140 elderly women killed in a fire at the Myers Ward of the Eventide Home for the Aged in 1980. A monument marks the mass grave containing the women's remains.

Michael Norman Manley ON OCC (December 10, 1924 - March 6, 1997) was the fourth Prime Minister of Jamaica (1972 - 1980, 1989 - 1992). Michael Manley was a democratic socialist.

The second son of Jamaica's Premier Norman Manley and Jamaican artist Edna Manley, Michael Manley was a charismatic figure who became the leader of the Jamaican People's National Party a few months before his father's death in 1969.

Salvador Isabelino Allende Gossens (June 26, 1908 - September 11, 1973) was a physician and the first democratically elected Marxist socialist to become president of a state in the Americas.

Allende's involvement in Chilean political life spanned a period of nearly forty years. As a member of the Socialist Party, he was a senator, deputy and cabinet minister. He unsuccessfully ran for the presidency in the 1952, 1958, and 1964 elections, but was appointed in 1970.

Allende served as the President of Chile from November 4, 1970 until the U.S.-backed September 11, 1973 coup d'état that ended his democratically elected Popular Unity government. During the air raids and ground attacks that preceded the coup, Allende gave his last speech where he vowed to stay in the presidential palace. The cause of death was suicide.

"Make the economy scream [in Chile to] prevent Allende from coming to power or to unseat him" — Richard Nixon, orders to CIA director Richard Helms on September 15, 1970.

  • Is this John Stockwell? If so, thanks for posting. I have read his books. He was the CIA station chief who went after Jamican Prime Minister, Michael Manley on orders of Kissinger, Nixon and Gerald Ford to destabilize our country so that Alcan/Reynolds Aluminium could take control of our bauxite. Yes, this was the root cause of civil unrest during the 1970's. Thanks for posting bro'.

  • @monabang Yes, this is John Stockwell. He was in charge of the Angola Task Force. The Jamaican operation happened after he left the CIA.

  • The commentator is referring to the Eventide fire...

  • Thanks for the information

  • @Amidat yes, they were made to pay france reparations for slavery being forced to pay 90 million gold francs to the people who used you as slaves, they were forced to borrow money from england, spain, america and a few other so called colonial powers.these payments were made up until 1945, they helped paid for frances war efforts. then the dictators were installed they had unlimited powers as long as they did not get friendly with communist countries russia, china or etc.

  • @markezeh its the government, not the citizens, so fuck you you son of a bitch

  • This is why half the contries in the world dont likeAmerican Gouverment & they wonder why Bad things happens two them one of these they all the countries in the world will turn against American Gouverment & they will have no Allies left

  • CIA - the terrorist arm of the US Government and EU corporations. Still in business. Well, the Jamaican 1970's economy did 'scream' and Manley got the blame instead of the 'invisible' CIA. Today in the 21st century our economy is being shut down by EU corporations like toll-road Boygues, Cable&Wireless, Digicel, etc. Any money Jamaicans spend in their own country goes to an EU corporation--- and the wealth is repatriated to Europe. They give us 'human rights' and take all the economic rights.

  • @PrimeReality - well Haiti's "problem" is that the led a revolt against colonial masters being blacks. They were heavily burdened with debt that completely crippled them because countries refused to trade with them. Aside from the voodoo... that was a wound that was almost impossible to heal... you can't build a nation without trade.

  • @Black0ps4Lif3 Your last sentence was very powerful..and it is so true!!!

  • Please dont call these people who did this to Jamaica " Americans" the truth is the same private corporations that take advantage of third world countries, are the SAME one who deprieve the average American citizens here and we just dont know it. So, please dont get it twisted. Americans right now are suffering because of banking and corporate greed, you see the truth is after raping all the worlds counrties dry, these greedy corporations have no one but the citizens of america to destroy

  • if we want to meet our humble needs- we just have to go pick stuff from the overly rich- or make the old president read a speech on tape that hes handing power to socialist?- rep gov never has worked- direct action does- dont fall for their drugs/booze- i can own any human if i can get them addicted lower their resistance to my orders("get her drunk")

  • all for stockmarket- & silly boys playing power trips- but we have no brave warriors- so lets return to matriarchy organizations -no overpop= no slavery masses

  • @markezeh As a US citizen, I'm so sorry for the things that have been done to Jamaica, Haiti, Vietnam, El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Nicaragua, Honduras, and the list could go on and on.... we are powerless here. My people have been brainwashed, and put to sleep. They believe the lies of our government, and it seems that no matter who we vote for, the result is the same. We're as much victims as you are. I still am very sorry.
