Im wondering that why everyone who performs this technique in youtube do that lifting action. When i do Tsuri Goshi im leaning my hip forward and pulling uke so i get good contact. Then i lean my hip backward and drop my upper body down. I think that it's the best way do Tsuri Goshi :) Maybe i put some video up :D

the best way for me to describe the difference is Tsuri goshi has more lifting action then hip action (like O Goshi)

they're very similar but tsuri goshi involves grabbing the belt.

i actually learned the tsuri goshi as jsut putting your hand on their lower back as opposed to grabbing the belt
