Not every smoker is like that..
I, myself, when i'm smoking i move away from people. For example, if i'm at a bus stop and want to smoke a cigarette while i'm waiting, i'll walk down the the road a little bit.
Even if i'm there first and someone walks over (an example: The other day an old lady came over and sat down while i was smoking, so i politely asked her if she minded me smoking, and if not i would move.)
Although, people like you described are morons. How could they be so rude.

Woww I empathize with you totally on this. My sister and her friend who has sickle cell asked a smoker to move too and that bitch gave them attitude and didnt move..man if I was there, I swear that lady would have never forgot me

I understand your point, but I wouldn't suggest the water gun idea. It just seems like it is too aggressive and might get you in trouble. I think there needs to be a place for smokers to go where it doesn't effect nonsmokers. I have a relative that still smokes. I wish he wouldn't . I am sad for smokers because I know it is an addiction and very difficult to quit.
I would never smoke again, but when I was young and didn't know better I started. Now the information is out there, everyone knows.
