October 22, 2008 - HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1) released, 1st Android phone. In 2010, this OS would become the highest selling in the world.

The HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1) was released October 22, 2008, before the making of this video. This was the first ever smartphone to run Android, which would later become the most popular phone OS in 2011 with double the sales of iPhone.
See THAT'S what should've been in that project. Of course back then they had no idea of its potential.

my boy friend had a cell phone in 1987 ... it looked like a brick hanging off his hip... but it worked... I rem the frist phone I got ... top of the line in 1994... I bought two , one for me and one for my employee... it was $800.00 each... the guy came to my house and sold both , total $1,600.00
