Based on the best-selling novel by Judith Krantz, Mistal's Daughter tells the story of three generations of red-haired beauties, all bound to Julien Mistral, the painter and genius whose passions seared them all. From the 20s Paris of Chanel and Matisse to New Yorks sizzling modeling agencies of the 50s to the model wars of the 70s, this epic mini-series captures the scandal, passion and explosive glamour of life in the worlds of art and high fashion.

Eric didn't offer Fauve some marguerite flowers but when they are having breakfast they are surrounded by marguerites.Lol!!The scene is just like Perry with Maggy in bed...with love and passion from fauve less intense.Maggy was more in love and mad with Perry.Has someone noticed that?Marguerites?

@casystooper When you don't want your own child, resent and neglect her, then cheat on her mother to have an illegitimate kid whom you favour and dote on, don't complain later when all the child see when they look at you is money and can't wait for you to die.

@casystooper Of course she just let him die. What on earth had he ever done for her besides resent and neglect her from day one and cheat on her mother? I would have done the same.

All Nadine ever wanted was his money, I just re-read the book, she waited for him to die and let him die. She deserved what she got and worse.

@NYCBlonde MAybe you're right. But Mistral never made efforts to communicate with nadine. She just was a child. And nadine asked for nothing, except love. Her father would have connected with her,he never did so I cannot blame nadine. She suffered enough and didn't help her father dying.Just easy to understand and i think nadine really loved her father, but he once said "she's an accident.".Kate is responsible of that too,but not nadine!

@Karenjadegirl You know this is fiction right? You have a lot of hatred in you and maybe you need to deal with it before it eats you up.

the scene where mistral shouts for nadine and she stays in her room, remembers me of the scene where avingdor was shouting at mistral to let him in.

@pandemits and you can see that her first (pure) instinct was to run to her father. maybe then she remembered other times she run to him and received nothing than contempt - like in her mothers funeral when she looked at him with tears in her eyes and he ignored her....
