Counter Strike Source - 8800 GTX - Video Stress Test

This is the video stress test included with CS:S. I ran it on my 8800 GTX C2D E6600 system. I had the resolution set to 1800x1440 with 16xTSQAA(16xQAA w/Transparancy AA set to Supersampling), 16xAF, and HDR enabled. On high details, 1680x1050 resolution, I got an average of 290 FPS.

I have two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280s running on SLI.

old cards made for old directx will run faster than new cards made for new direct x. thats how it works

Idk if anyone noticed this, but I OC'd my 9800GTX+ as far as I could, and the fps didn't increase. Then I find out that OCing the CPU is what gives you insane FPS on that bechnmarker. Like the guy at the top with the i7@4GHz. So I OC'd my q9400 a full GHz and increase my fps by 100 to 214 avg.

than you could see what you got because you cant get over 300 fps without fps_max
