Watch eight renowned experts and three farmers worldwide discuss the safety of genetically modified foods -- sharing their confidence in the process used to ensure the safe development of genetically modified crops and the safety of genetically engineered food. The Conversations About Plant Biotechnology Web site offers additional video podcasts with farmers and experts from around the world.
@mewho1 Lazy farmers? I wonder how would you do on a african farm with wooden tools, without advanced agriculture. There is no need for proving that GMO is safe, because the transgene is treated by our organism as the whole rest of the GMO's DNA. If the protein coded by the transgen is non-toxic for humans (and that is tested very drasticly) there is no point to be afraid of modified food.

Where were they supposedly discussing the SAFETY of Genetically Modified crops? They only discussed the issue of not needing to spray the crops as much and how this was easier for lazy farmers, and there wasn't a thing said regarding the SAFETY OF THE FOOD. Perhaps there's an inference that it's better for the environment to not spray as much, but nothing at all regarding the SAFETY OF THE FOOD. Watch what you post next time, and advertisements and marketing materials aren't unbiased.
