meh i too first learned a ton os songs on harmonica (because my first harmonica had no numbers, so i couldnt tell the difference) only LATER did i found out that i was learning it upside down, but whats the difference? ;D

"commercial"?
Of course was it commercial because like Hooker, Sonny Boy II & everybody you mentioned Sonny Terry was a PROFESSIONAL musician.
So what is wrong with that - I never understood that kind of argumentatation. It is just good music.

This is sooo cool. And Brownie has to be one of the best acoustic blues players. (and Mississippi John Hurt) Almost always flawless playing on almost everything I've heard. Sonny and Wolf, 2 of the greatest on harp.

This guy's just awesome. I love the sound of that harmonica.

Speaking of which, I was looking up famous Harmonica Blues artists and found Pal DeLay, only when I heard him play his harmonica, it didn't sound anything like Sonny's. I know it's probably a different type, but does anyone have a clue about this?
