@DrAndrewC Ad hominem attacks and ignoring the actual arguments I have presented, I will consider that a concession. Thank you for an entertaining discussion.

@DrAndrewC I do not claim to be correct. Please re-read my previous post and see that I have made none of these claims. As to the evidence for Christianity, please present it and I will be glad to accept it if it is even remotely realistic.

@DrAndrewC @DrAndrewC I did not say that abiogenesis was grounded in any evidence, it is a scientific theory that has by no way been proven and I have not and will not make any such claims, I simply see it as more reliable than a theory reached by non-scientific methods by ignorant, men over 2000 years ago. My belief is not faith, I am simply placing my bet on what I see as the most likely hypothesis...cont.

@andrewrichmo And this is the difference between your "belief" and mine. Your belief in abiogenesis is not grounded in any evidence. Even though you are emotionally biased against the God of the Bible and His plan of salvation for those who humble themselves to turn and receive it, Christianity is grounded in evidence (even though you may not like or accept this evidence). Belief in an impossible theory (abiogenesis) requires far more faith than I have.

@andrewrichmo Your analysis of the the *8 Evidences For The Resurrection of Christ* reveals that your apriori objections are not actually intellectual. Your emotive language seems to confirm this as well.

@DrAndrewC As to the historical value of your 8 points: 6 is simply a logical fallacy, 8 is a lie, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 are taken from the bible and using those as evidence is circular reasoning. Lastly, I will concede that 1 is actually a reference to history, however debatable it or its reliability may be.

@DrAndrewC Ahh that would be why I couldn't find it in any reputable dictionary, because it comes from an unreliable source. We obviously disagree on this definition and nothing I can say will change that, so I will drop it, after stating again that the definition I am using can be found in any reputable dictionary or source, while yours can not. cont...

@DrAndrewC Lastly, I do believe that abiogenesis is a very plausible theory simply because it is one of the only ones we have that does not rely o a completely unreliable soure ie. the bible or any other holy book.
If the Big Bang needs a big banger, doesn't the Creator need a creator?

@stoneman1975 Good question. The question could be put this way as well- Does an eternal, supreme, all-powerful being need a Creator? We may have to apprehend the answer before we comprehend the answer.
